
The draw for the Scottish Cup has given Aberdeenshire a home draw on the 15th of May against Drumpellier from Division 1 of the Western District Cricket Union. Drumpellier finished a respectable 4th in their 2021 campaign having been relegated from the WDCU Premier Division in 2019. The winners have a challenging away tie to Freuchie who were runners up in the SPCU North East Championship. The CS Challenge Cup draw sees Grade 1 runners up Culter Curry Bon Accord on the road to Glasgow on 1st May. They take on Hillhead who were runners up in the WDCU 2nd Division in 2021. If Bon Accord win that tie then they have a shorter away trip in Round 2 to Huntly who have a bye in Round 1.
